Anne McKibbin, Principal Investigator

Anne holds an MA in Anthropology from the University of Colorado with emphases on geoarchaeology, cartography, and archaeological drafting. She began employment on a seasonal basis with Metcalf in 1981, and began permanent full time employment in 1988. Since that year Anne has been a staff archaeologist with project director responsibilities, and assumed the responsibilities of principal investigator in 1991. She has also been a major author on a number of Metcalf's recent large project reports. Her role as principal investigator includes responsibility for all phases of project management; supervision of the company's staff archaeologists; preparation of proposals; in addition to review, editing, and compilation of reports. Prior to Anne's employment at Metcalf, she worked seasonally as an archaeological technician (both as a paid employee and volunteer) for the National Park Service (Arizona and New Mexico), USDA Forest Service (Plumas National Forest, California), Colorado Department of Transportation, Museum of Northern Arizona (Flagstaff), and Western Cultural Resource Management (Colorado).
