Cultural Resources Management & Planning

MAC encourages our clients to engage in advanced resource planning. MAC assists clients in routing projects away from sensitive resources during advanced cultural resource planning stages to keep costs low and projects moving forward. MAC draws on extensive field experience aided by tools such as GIS-based predictive modeling and studies of geomorphology to anticipate problem areas and help clients plan optimal solutions. MAC also can assist government clients in preparing cultural resource management plans for heritage resources at many levels of scale: county, municipality, installation or district. When resources can’t be avoided, MAC is experienced in working with clients and regulators in developing treatment plans and programmatic agreements that help our clients by making the compliance process manageable.
